The L&D nurse checked me and she said "I can't even feel your cervix, you are fully dilated" I was shocked! I told Carrie to call my mom and the nurse grabbed my doctor, who was sleeping at the hospital on call that night. When they returned I asked if I could push and before they could say "no" my water broke. Dr. Stowers finished getting ready and said "now it's okay to push". Two pushes later at 2:20 a.m. I had a baby girl! She was so calm as she sucked her little fist. I thought I was having a girl, but when I saw her and held her for the first time I was so excited to have a daughter and I was instintly in love with her.
I wish so much that Ryan could hold her, she is so SWEET. She rarely cries and rarely gets held d/t her busy brother. Mya is a little angel with a very calm spirit. So, here are some pictures:

After Mya's first bath, Jaxon stripped down and jumped in her tub to try it out. And this is the first time Mya and Jaxon met each other.

Angie, Your children are beautiful and sweet! Congratulations! You still look as cute and fun as ever...even after just giving birth!
Love, Debbie Amundson
AWWWW! Ang, I'm so excited for you! I love having a girl! We really need to get together when you are feeling up to it! I know having a new one can be quite overwhelming, but I DON'T know what it's like with your hubby gone...tear. So, call me! I could just even keep you company if you want!
Angie, you have the most amazing labor stories! You are just made to pop those kids out. :) Mya is beautiful and I hope all is going well. I would love to get together sometime, when you are feeling up to it. :)
Angie, Congrats! Mya is beautiful. You are amazing. I admire you & Ryan. You are both so strong. Hopefully Ryan will be able to hold his daughter soon!
